I made this Indian inspired shirt using cotton, recycled buttons and embroidery thread. I have styled this piece to show the traditional Indian fashion with a modern twist.
I am a costume design student from University of Salford. I am currently in my second year and have a particular interest for styling and designing.

I created these designs by using watercolour and then editing them on photoshop.
Hobson's Choice
Hobson's choice is a play set in 1880's. I made this hat by using an old straw hat and adding lace, ribbon and a lining made from satin. I hand made the flowers using satin and burning the fabric, before hand painting them to make them look realistic.

Return to the Forbidden Planet is a Sci-Fi musical written by Bob Carlton. I designed and made this space suit for the science officer Gloria. It is 60% made from recycled materials and components. I used a cotton material for most of the garment as it is going to be worn on stage every night for a 3 month performance and I needed to make sure it could be washed regularly and be comfortable for the actor to wear.
